The diameter of the hair cortex varies between individuals: the smaller the diameter, the thinner and less dense the hair. While this diameter is mainly determined by genetic factors, it can also be the result of an unbalanced diet or the use of overly aggressive care products that can deprive the hair fibre of the nutrients it needs to grow healthy and strong.  The hair then looks flat and even after blow-drying, the volume effect quickly fades.

Applying rich conditioners or masks can make the hair heavy, greasy
and even flatter.  A volumising shampoo, specially formulated for fine
hair, can help to restore body and substance.

To amplify the volume of fine and flat hair, Volumize shampoo is enriched with rice proteins, a botanical active ingredient that brings density and substance to the fibre by attaching to its surface without weighing it down. Many shampoos contain sulphates, which have foaming, detergent (they dissolve sebum and dirt) and emulsifying (they help the ingredients to mix together) properties. However, their aggressive formula unbalances the natural environment of the scalp, making the hair more fragile and thinning. To gently cleanse fine, flat hair, we have chosen to use natural agents that are less aggressive and just as effective. Our shampoos therefore contain a synergy of gentle, non-sulphated and botanical surfactants, derived from the coconut, which clean the scalp without damaging it.

Main active ingredients of natural origin :

    Rice proteins: Rice proteins are composed of amino acids, substances that are naturally present in hair. They therefore have a protein structure that allows them to attach to the hair's surface to give it volume, substance and lightness without weighing it down. At Lazartigue, we use hydrolysed rice proteins, which are smaller in size, to facilitate their penetration and increase their effectiveness.

Texture : Transparent gel

Perfume : A woody olfactory note, inspired by a bean and sap that together form the gourmet essence of the Coumarou, the Tonka bean tree.

Apply 2 to 3 times a week:

    Before application, brush the hair while it is still dry to detangle it, eliminate impurities and amplify the action of the shampoo
    Apply the product to wet hair and then distribute it throughout the hair, starting at the nape of the neck.
    Gently massage with fingertips to build up the lather.
    Rinse thoroughly with water.

"Even without sulphate, Lazartigue shampoos lather very well. If the foam seems insufficient, don't add any product, just add a little more water".
